What makes AlreadyChecked different
Most recommendation experiences start with a product list. AlreadyChecked starts with the decision. A question such as “I need a lightweight laptop under $1,500 for travel and video editing” contains requirements, tradeoffs and priorities. Those become the criteria the research engine uses to determine what must be checked.
The system is designed to distinguish official documentation from company marketing, and both from independent evidence and customer sentiment. A recommendation is withheld when the evidence does not meet the verification requirements.
What AI does—and does not do
AI helps AlreadyChecked plan research, gather current source material and organize evidence. It is not allowed to simply declare a winner. Deterministic rules enforce hard constraints, budgets, evidence coverage and recommendation integrity before the result can become OUR PICK.
That distinction matters. The product is not “trust our AI.” The product is “here is the decision, here is the work, and here is what remains uncertain.”
How recommendations are funded
